Wildlife Tracking Apprenticeship: Shrub-Steppe Species

Flintknapping Course Added to the 2014 Schedule!

Join expert flintknapper / special guest teacher, Dan Stueber, to learn the ancient skill of flintknapping! In this hands on class students will be guided through the process of making spear points, arrow points, knives, and a variety of other stone tools.

Week 10 & 11


Two more exciting weeks of the Alderleaf Wilderness Certification Program have just been completed.  Week 10 included studies in bird language and winter tree identification.

Week 11 included 3 days of intensive permaculture study, including how to use an A-Frame level for measuring contours on your land.
